Hometown Habitat movie – virtual screenings now available! If you would like to help members of your community association or faith community to quickly understand the value of home habitat, contact We can give you a password to view it yourself and decide whether to pay the discounted licensing fee for an online screening in which people can have several days to view it.

Faith Community symposium – Sunday, June 14 2pm – 4:30 pm. If we cannot hold it in person, we will do it virtually. Join us as we discuss how and why faith communities are using their places of worship to demonstrate stewardship of the Earth. Registration here. More details will follow.

Social distancing is easy at garden centers

Our local native-only garden centers have arrangements either for curbside pickup or for delivery, or both. At one of the other 23 participating local garden centers, you can easily identify the native plants by the red “Northern Virginia Native” stickers which have been put on by our volunteers.
