Loudoun Widlife Conservancy Milkweed Sale

We will have four types of milkweed available: CommonSwampWhorled and Butterfly Weed. Due to Covid-19, we will be offering pre-sale orders via our online shop in addition to onsite purchases. The event will be drive-thru only to minimize contact and expedite the process, so pre-ordering is encouraged.

If you are looking for particular plants, in most cases you can contact the vendors
ahead of time to ask them to bring them for you.

(And don’t forget our local native plants nurseries)

Nature by Design in Alexandria, Earth Sangha in Springfield and Watermark Woods in Hamilton, Virginia are open all season to supply your needs. See a quick video about them here.

Native plants are also available at most local garden centers (but rarely at big box stores.) Be sure to ask for plants by their scientific name, as there are non-native versions of many popular plants.  Look for our red NOVA Natives stickers placed on plant signs by our volunteers at these garden centers.  Native plants are the basis of the ecosystem and are essential for our songbirds, frogs, butterflies, etc.
