This conference is for professionals in the landscaping industry only (landscape designers, landscape architects, growers, nurseries, landscape maintenance, property managers, builders, etc.) The general public is invited to hear Rick Darke talk the evening before.

  • Rick Darke heads RICK DARKE LLC, a Pennsylvania-based consulting firm focused on the conservation, design and management of living landscapes. He has written numerous articles and books including The Living Landscape: Designing for Beauty and Biodiversity in the Home Garden (co-authored with Doug Tallamy). See his extensive biography here.

  • Elisa Meara is a landscape designer in Falls Church and owner of Native Plant Landscape Design Corp.
